Sorters RV Park is located in Porter, Texas,  just North of Houston.  Our park offers a nice, quiet, friendly  safe haven for your RV stay, while visiting family and friends, or just traveling. We are so much more than a parking spot with hook-ups. Our family owned and operated park is perfect for a wide variety of visitors ranging from the guest that wants a convenient, hassle-free overnight rest, or the guest planning a family vacation getaway, or the guest that intends to spend one or more seasons with us.

Porter, TX has truly become a great place to enjoy the slow pace of a small town but at the same time have the electricity and excitement of a large city. Enjoy our Texas hospitality and make this your home away from home.  Explore the local attractions. Whether it’s fishing or the ballet that tickles your fancy, a short drive will put you in the middle of the action. After a day on the lake or a night on the town, you can return to the quiet comfort of your secure campsite. It is our commitment to make your stay with us a pleasure. Although we are located close to the interstate, the distraction of the outer world disappears once you settle into your campsite.  You are in your own peaceful getaway,  just kick back and enjoy your stay with us.   Whether you are driving a “Big Rig” or pulling a Travel Trailer the campsites at Sorters RV Park offer that peaceful getaway.  We have “satellite-dish-friendly” campsites.  You’ll really appreciate this fine alternative to camping.  For those wanting to spend a night.... a week.... a month….a season….or all year round in our wonderful camping community. We offer both seasonal and permanent RV sites.  

Our comfortable sites are perfect for any size unit with full hook-ups readily available.  Every amenity and convenience you could want is right nearby in town…....shopping, groceries, restaurants, hospital, laundromat, gasoline, diesel, propane, local college, churches, RV sales & service. 


Downtown Houston is a short 30 minute drive and you are only 15 minutes to a major mall.  Historical Galveston, Texas is only 2 1/2 hours away.
